Jelly Beans!

Very cherry, berry blue, chocolate pudding, ...

                                 JELLY BEANS!!!!

The "Jelly Belly" factory is a great place to go. My favorite thing about it is the free candy. There is a train that will take you around the factory on a video tour, showing the process of how Jelly Bellies are made.  Did you know the process of making Jelly Bellies can take 7-21 days?

On the tour we learned that President Ronald Reagan loved Jelly Beans.  He loved jelly beans a lot! I'm not kidding he started almost all of his meetings by passing around the jar of Jelly Bellies. Ronald Reagan also had special compartments for his jelly beans on air force one, so they wouldn't spill all over the place. (Ronald Reagan's favorite jelly bean flavor was licorice.)

They have mosaic art made of the jelly beans that are pictures of famous people and animals. The first mosaic made was of President Ronald Reagan, but the most popular mosaic portrat is of Elvis Presley. At the end of your tour you get one pack of jelly beans, or more if you give a tip your tour guide. Then you enter a gift shop where you can buy trinkets and jelly beans.  They also feature a sample bar, where you can try all the flavors.  Free tours are daily, but not on a few holidays at 10100 Jelly Belly Ln. Pleasant prairie WI.
